Challenges for the development of new tourist niches

II DAY - 3rd October 2019 – Novi Sad, Master centar – Novosadski Fair, Hajduk Veljkova street 11, 21000 Novi Sad, Serbia from 10:30 to 17h

Conference were organized by Irig moj grad, in cooperation with Municipality of Irig, MORA-TOURIST Information and Services Non-Profit Limited Liability Company and Institute of Lowland Forestry and Environment.

A two-day conference was attended by experts from the tourism sector from countries in the region who face similar challenges such as Hungary and Serbia in the development of new tourist destinations. On two-day conference around 130 participants were present. The aim of the conference was to provide to participants exchange of experiences and to present good practices in solving concrete problems in certain areas all in point to develop and create new touristic product in cross border region HU-SRB.

First day of the conference lecturers presented presentations on topic of the conference. On second day of the conference two panel discussions where organized. Topics were: Forests as resource for tourism development and Transformation of traditional spa to natural wellness/selfness spa.
